My Valentine....

This is the card Sam gave me for Valentine's Day:

Look! He even added little hearts! And an extra "N" to my name! So stinkin' cute!

Strike TWO.

Read strike one here.

Oh wow, do you think he read my blog post and was like 'that would be funny to do to Vanessa? Except now you have been married for 4 years there is NO excuse!

Oh my gosh -- I'm dying laughing all over again. I just had my mom read strike one and she was crying too.

Your relationship with Sam is the funniest thing I ever experience, so keep documenting.

Poor Sam ... he's gonna have a hard time living this one down! The hearts were a nice gesture:-)

Funny thing -- when you said "strike two", I immediately thought strike one would be the fake bruise story. I guess that was strike 1.5? Maybe not strike-worthy at all? Hilarious, either way.

I love funny stories like this! The Valentine looks really cute. It's sweet that Sam drew it himself. Maybe he thought you had secretly always wished for another "N" in there. Makes sense. I always wanted my puny name to be longer. I hope you saved it. Stories are always better with props.

HAHAHAHA. This is hilarious. They just try so hard, don't they? It's ok, last year my Mom sent me a birthday card and it said "Happy Birthday Sarah!" inside. Too bad that my name doesn't have an H on it. And she's the one who picked the spelling when I was born.

This is a card you must save, and pull out whenever he's being a pain to remind him what a blunder he made that one Valentines day.

Hee, hee. This made me laugh. I have to laugh, if only in commiseration, though spelling my name wrong is something Joe hasn't yet done. I gave up on exchanging Valentine's cards/gifts long ago. Now we just go out to dinner sometime around the date. The Palmer boys just are not known for their grand holiday observances (maybe they're known for their NON-observance!).
